New cooktop, oven, upright stove or outdoor kitchen? We install and connect gas appliances safely and to code, and we disconnect and cap the old ones properly.
Appliance installs look simple, but the details matter: the right pipe size, a compliant hose and regulator, leak testing, flueing and ventilation where they're needed, and making sure the appliance is set up for your gas type (natural gas or LPG). In Victoria, connecting a gas appliance is licensed work, and the certificate we issue is what you'll want for your records, your insurer and when you sell.
We regularly install and connect cooktops, ovens, upright stoves, built-in BBQs and outdoor kitchens, gas bayonets and commercial cooking equipment. Switching to induction? We'll disconnect, cap and test the old gas point so it's safe.

Common questions
Do I need a licensed gasfitter to connect a cooktop?
Yes. In Victoria any work on gas appliances, including connecting a new cooktop, must be done by a licensed gasfitter. It isn't just a rule: a poorly connected appliance can leak gas or produce carbon monoxide.
Can you supply the appliance?
You're welcome to buy your own appliance and we'll install it. If you'd like help choosing a unit that suits your kitchen and gas supply, just ask when you call.
I'm switching to induction. Can you disconnect the gas?
Yes. We'll disconnect, cap and test the gas point so it's safe, and remove the old appliance if you'd like it gone.
Will my new appliance work with LPG?
Most appliances are sold set up for natural gas. If you're on bottled LPG, a conversion kit needs to be fitted and adjusted by a licensed gasfitter. We can do that as part of the install.
